But you probably know the answer. In the standard corporate paradigm, the people that build hardware, the people that write software, the people that sell games, the people that do legal and the people that buy product don&#039;t meet each other until the last minute. And when they do, its more like a conveyer belt that goes backwards and forwards until a &quot;solution&quot; pops out the other end.

If you are a dictator (Steve Jobs) you can override the process. But most publicly held companies just don&#039;t see the world in terms of design; just product sales, and what to get on the shelves by Christmas.</description>
